The scratched facade is a unique stone cladding technique developed by our Jaksic workshop. It features a surface of white Brač stone, processed with a coarse scratching method. Each stone panel is engraved with continuous grooves and linear textures, creating striking surface relief.
When an entire modern facade is covered with this stone cladding, it creates a fascinating play of light and shadow — depending on the angle of light and the time of day, the grooves appear more or less pronounced. This distinctive stone facade has been awarded for the most successful architectural design in stone.
Another satisfied investor chose our stone cladding for their project: a luxury villa in Sutivan, designed by architect Sanja Koren Veljačić, also features this iconic scratched facade.
The collaboration with the investors was an excellent experience, resulting in a contemporary and elegant architectural expression that harmoniously blends with the Mediterranean surroundings.
