Stonework shaped for its place and purpose

White Brač stone has a different role in every project. On a façade, the rhythm of the elements and the way a surface holds the light matter. At a burial site, proportion, inscription and the durability of each detail come first. In a sculpture or monument, the stone carries an idea and establishes a relationship with its surroundings.

Dimensions, stone type, surface finish, installation and junction details are therefore considered before production begins. Depending on the commission, the workshop works from an architectural drawing, a sketch, a model or a direct design discussion with the client.

How does a commission begin?

You do not need a complete technical package for the first conversation. Describe what you would like to make and send whatever is available: photographs of the location, basic dimensions, a sketch, architectural drawings or an example of a surface finish you like.

  1. Purpose and setting

    We discuss the project, its location and the conditions the finished work must meet.

  2. Stone and finish

    We consider the type of stone, format, surface treatment and essential details.

  3. Making

    The elements are cut, carved and shaped to the agreed dimensions and drawings.

  4. Delivery and installation

    Transport, installation and the final inspection are arranged for the project.
