Production of a White Brač Stone Tomb – A Unique Approach for Every Client

In our Jakšić stone workshop, we are currently creating another custom-designed tomb, crafted entirely according to the wishes and needs of the client. Every memorial we produce is conceived as an individual, carefully planned work that reflects the personal story and character of the family.

A Design with a Distinctive Character

This tomb is made from white Brač stone, a material known for its durability, longevity, and refined structure — a true symbol of elegance and monumentality. The design combines clean, straight lines with soft, undulating forms that bring rhythm and visual movement. These sculpted wave-like elements are particularly complex to execute in a solid stone block, requiring exceptional precision and highly controlled craftsmanship.

One side of the tomb features carved wave-shaped recesses that symbolically suggest motion — a visual rhythm that follows the entire composition. The upper cover plate is massive and subtly bevelled, while the headrest section forms a gentle curve that gives the monument a calm and contemplative character. Built-in circular holders are intended for candle lamps or vases, adding practical functionality.

Precise Workshop Assembly

To ensure flawless execution, each tomb is fully assembled in our workshop before installation at the cemetery. This allows us to check every joint, angle, and detail. Only after the client approves the final appearance do we proceed with the installation on the chosen location.

Like all our work, this tomb is the result of blending traditional stonemasonry craftsmanship with a contemporary design approach. White Brač stone — carefully shaped with skill and respect — becomes a lasting monument with emotional and aesthetic value.
