Family Gospodnetić Žuljanović Tomb

- this white Brač stone tomb represents a perfect balance between classical form and contemporary design. At first glance, it radiates traditional harmony and elegance, yet a closer look reveals modern details that give it a distinctive and refined character. The composition is defined by clean, calm lines that convey dignity and simplicity. The classic structure of the tomb is enhanced through a few carefully designed modern elements. The vases are slightly shifted forward in relation to the headstone, creating a sense of spatial rhythm and balance. Their diagonal cut adds a contemporary touch and highlights the precision of craftsmanship. A striking visual element is the glass cross, whose transparency and reflections bring lightness and a sense of spirituality. Combined with the white stone surface, it symbolises the connection between the material and the spiritual world. The engraved lettering, hand-painted in silver tone, adds a unique detail of refinement and individuality. In the centre of the top stone lies the family coat of arms, a symbol of the noble heritage and historical significance of the Mladineo lineage. It turns the tomb into a representation of identity and continuity. Entirely crafted from Brač limestone, renowned for its purity, brightness and durability, this piece is a true example of how timeless material can take on a modern expression. Created in the Jakšić Workshop, this work embodies tradition, craftsmanship and artistic vision – resulting in a tomb that radiates serenity, elegance and dignity.
