Tomb for Nils Josić

- this tomb, made of white Brač stone, was installed at a cemetery in Frankfurt and is dedicated to the memory of a young life. Designed in accordance with the dimensions and forms required by local cemeteries, it demonstrates how tomb construction can be fully adapted to international requirements. It is a headstone of simple and harmonious lines, clearly reflecting a youthful passion for football. Football boots and a ball are carved into the stone – symbols preserving the memory of what mattered most to the deceased. Alongside the photograph and dates, an emotional message is engraved, while the precise letter carving confirms the superior craftsmanship of our workshop. The Jakšić Stonemasonry Workshop has many years of experience in designing and producing headstones for both domestic and international cemeteries. This is just one of many tombs we have created abroad, proving that the tradition of working with white Brač stone is recognised and valued worldwide. Through the union of personal story and symbols, this tomb remains a lasting tribute to the love of sport and a life ended too soon.
